  1. Hey, I am having some trouble with my 10.5.2 Kalyway installation...everything works fine except when I go to insert a disc (in this case a WoW disc) and I get the 'black screen' or whatever saying to hold the reset button, etc. Tried searching but the search function on here doesn't seem very reliable...gives you results based on each keyword used so I end up getting tons of pages upon pages of irrelevant threads. Thanks.
  2. Works like a charm on this 10.5.2 Thanks.
  3. Hey, First, thanks for taking the time to read this and possibly offer your help. Second, I've been doing searches the past hour or so and I've yet to come across a solution that is up-to-date or has actually turned results. I've installed 10.4.10 before a long time ago on my old computer, however this computer is giving me some issues. I'll give a bit of info on my setup real fast... Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 HDD(s): - 1x 750gb Seagate Barracuda ST3750330AS Drive (About 300gb reserved for Vista which I'm currently using, another 300gb unallocated for OSX) - 1x 120gb SAMSUNG SP1213C SATA Drive (Just a storage drive) DVD-ROM: NEC ND-2500A ATA Device Note: I do not have any IDE HDD's, just those two SATA. Also, this is the same DVD-ROM I used in my old computer to install 10.4.10 a while back (amongst older versions of OSX86). First, I was using my old 10.4.10 installation disc and was getting 'Still waiting for root device...' so I downloaded the 10.5.2 Kalyway version and it seemed to recognize my drives. However, I am now getting... Over and over along with some I/O failures... I have tried burning the ISO twice now, once at 4x speed and once at 2.6x (that's as low as I can get) with the same type of discs that I burned 10.4.10 long ago with. I am using ImgBurn to do the burning process... If you need any more information please let me know. Again, thanks for taking time to check this post out.
  4. Can anyone tell me a bit more about the SSE2 and SSE3 patches? I used the CPU-Z and here are my CPU specs... I don't have PAE support but I do have SSE/SSE2/SSE3, so that should be alright, right? Also, when people are saying apply the SSE2 or SSE3 patches, are those already included in the different .iso's such as 10.4.7 (JaS) or do you have to seperatly download them? Secondly, how do you know which one to get? Thank you.
