grub problems - Invalid device requested

hi all!

 

i installed Leopard on a Toshiba Qosmio, but i can not boot it.

 

on that machine i have Win XP and Linux (Gentoo), and Leopard.

 

when i boot machine, i get the following error:

 

Error 12: invalid device requested

 

my grub.conf have next section about Leopard:

 

title Leopard

kernel (hd1,5)/boot/boot_v8

makeactive

chainloader +1

 

root linux partition is installed on /dev/sdb6, so position of /boot is (hd1,5)

 

i took boot_v8 from Mac, because i can mount Mac partition from linux.

 

can you help me to boot leopard? thank you in advance!
