Okky Risano Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 Hi guys, i'm using Asrock Conroe133-D667 R.1 with bios update v.1.80 Pentium 4 D, 3Ghz 2Gigs 2*1 Apacer 667mhz Geforce 7300GT Creative Audigy Platinum DVDWriter LG with DVDRAM support (IDE) 2 SATA2 Drive ---> MAXTOR STM350032AS (500 gigs, 32MB Cache) and MAXTOR STM3250310AS (250 gigs, 8MB cache) i'm using kaliway 10.5.2 which already success put in my Toshiba A135, but there was an install problems when i'm gonna install those into my desktop seems it had an ACPI problems with my motherboard, i don't know why, i'm already use "ACPI=x86" options on darwin boot to solve this but seems it not solve my problems here's the capture of my screen when i'm using option -x -v -f cpus=1 -legacy and here's the capture of my screen when i'm using ACPI=x86 PS : when i'm using normal boot without any option the result was the same like using option -x -v -f cpus=1 -legacy here's the link of my BIOS setting captures : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v304/okk...os_ASROCK_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v304/okk...os_ASROCK_2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v304/okk...os_ASROCK_3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v304/okk...os_ASROCK_4.jpg is there any clue for me to solve this problems? i'm gonna try to use iatkos v3 or leo4all, still download them all.....but i'm still hope i can use kaliway instead thx guys. macita Posted July 8, 2008 Share Posted July 8, 2008 go to www.osrom.net and download the last MOD bios by KABYL! THIS MOTHERBOARDS WRKS NEAR TO PERFECTLY WITH KALYWAY so no excuses! Then use the search function for check how to setup the bios in a right way to get it wrking thx for the information bro, i'll try this at home, already download it @ my office, before i used that board i'm using asrock dual-vsta with via chip, and get stuck with SATA drives, can't used with my SATA drives, that's why i buy new asrock conroe1333-D667 R1.0 i'll post the progress later bro. Okky Risano Posted July 9, 2008 Author Share Posted July 9, 2008 Still had the same problem, i'm already patch my board with conroe133-D667 patch bios.mod on http://osrom.net/files/BIOS.mod/MB/ASRock/...od.by.Kabyl.zip try to use boot option acpi=x86 and still failed, try to use -v -x -f cpus=1 -legacy and still had the same problem. CIao Boxer, yes this is the retail BIOS, if u need to install more powerfull cpu u must use the kabyl one, so is better to use it anyway because is the last bios and modded for core duo duo!
