maxk
I wonder if anybody have noticed the same behavior on their machines that I recently discovered on mine? I was copying some disk backup images and large archives and noticed that most files get corrupted. Timely investigation forced me to do an md5 comparison of original and suspected files. Strangely I discovered that every time I run md5 utility on a large file on my machine I get various hash results. Memory and hard drive tests don't reveal any problems. Smaller files give normal hash results, but anything larger than 1GB is a random number. Anybody can suggest a direction where I should look?
