rsilves
Hi. I have a P5W DH Deluxe, Q6600, 3GB of RAM, and my system (Kalyway 10.5.2) is booting from a 250GB SATAII drive. I have a 500GB drive, and want to add another one in RAID 0 mode. How do I do that? I saw that, in Disk Utility, there's a tab for RAID options, and it seems that I can configure it from there. What's the best way? (if there's more than 1 working option) Do the disks to be empty to configure them as RAID0? Or I can leave the data there and apply the RAID0 config without problems? Thanks, Rodrigo P.S: I did use the search, but it's so badly configured that I hate it after the 3rd try. I write RAID0 "how to" and it searches for the words separately. I write RAID0 P5W and the same thing happens... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114484-how-to-configure-2-drives-as-raid0/ Share on other sites

Volcacius
I'm not using RAID so I don't know much about it, but i know that you can't simply add a new hard drive to your configuration: you should create a new RAID using the BIOS and all your data will be lost. Also in order to get it working on Leopard you have to use Chameleon (see here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=76404) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114484-how-to-configure-2-drives-as-raid0/#findComment-813332 Share on other sites
