Hi Everyone;

I am new to OSX so I am having a few issues.

Now I am a seasoned Windows (1.0 - Vista ) and Linux user but no Mac exp. what so ever.

I am needing to Log In as Administrator so I can run Bootcamp and get XP to dual boot.

I already Set the 3 Partitions I want when I installed OSX so thats taken care of.

Just for FYI I had a 300 Gig and this is my Part. Table

1) 85.00Gig OSX

2) 85.00Gig XP (Fat32) &

3) 129+ Gig Storage (Fat32) more or less as a Swap or Dual Storage Drive.

So any help or atleast a point in the right Direction would be great!

Thanks

Philip

Damn.

Well What steps do I need to take to make a dual boot?

Sorry again, Im a OSx86 Noob!

Phil

There are many different ways to do that and you might want to read a few tutorials before you decide how to do it. I recommend our own WIKI as a good starting point, here:

There are also a few tutorials that can be found in the forum. Since the search function does not work properly (at least for me it never has), you can use google to look for info. Like this:

Hey Man;

Thanks for atleast replying to possibly point me in the right direction.

I googled for some help and this is what I came up with...

Its for vista but I am hoping I can possibly do it with XP also!

Yeah, that looks like a good one. As I said before: read through a couple of these and try to grasp the idea before deciding on which method to use.

Good luck!
