entitas
I successfully updated to 10.5.4 using the ToH 9.2.0 kernel. My PC has a Pentium 4 with only SSE2. I heard that modbin 9.4.0 is compatible with SSE2 and so I replaced the existing kernel. From then, my PC is not booting and sometimes it gives kernel panic with message "Mac OS : Version Not Set Yet" and sometimes it boot past and do not give a kernel panic but stops after detecting the root device, when it should be "Jettisoning Kernel Linker". I know that reverting to 9.2.0 should solve my problems but what is the problem with modbin 9.4.0 ? Also, are there any other SSE2 kernel version 9.4.0 (like ToH) ? derekreid
I had the same problem, that kernel didn't work for me either. I'm running ToH's 9.2.0 kernel also. Anyone get the modbin 9.4.0 kernel to work on their SSE2??
