rickette Posted July 6, 2008 Share Posted July 6, 2008 Hi, i just installed Kalyway 10.5.2 leopard, i think pretty muc everything is working so far. the only problem i have is with my wireless PCI card. it's a belkin F5D7000 E, i think it's a Atheros BIOS. i check many posts on this forum and found how to install my card (using this method :http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=33089&pid=238508&mode=threaded&start=#entry238508) it detected a new wireless card right away. the problem now is that i can't turn on the airport card, the option is just in grey. my conf is: asus p5K C2D E8400 Maxtor 200Go HDD Nvidia Geforce8800GT 2Go corsair RAM PC 6400 belkin F5D7000 E wireless adapter if you need something else, just ask me. thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114342-belkin-pci-wireless-f5d7000-wont-mount/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
rickette Posted July 6, 2008 Author Share Posted July 6, 2008 ok i was desperate, so i rebooted, find out that i still can't turn airport on, so i eventually launched Safari. it can't connect but it can "diagnose" or something, ONLY from there i was able to activate airport. i configured my wireless and it worked just fine. so no problem left...
