toastyspoon
Hi guys, hopefully you can help me... I've got a toshiba equium m50 and can't find any information on this laptop and osx86 on here. I have installed a 10.4.1 (i think :S) intel only disk, and it seemed to install fine. When I then went to boot, it went through the verbose text and nothing came up error wise, but then it stalled on a blue screen. Does anyone know why this could be? Or maybe suggest what information I might need to supply to help you help me more? Cheers, Jason Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114249-help-me-get-the-final-step-done/ Share on other sites

lancep93
That sounds like a video issue, is there any way u can adjust the v-ram in your bios? and also, what does your darwin boot-loader say before you start the boot? I had similar problems w/ my dell latitude d400.That sounds like a video issue, is there any way u can adjust the v-ram in your bios? and also, what does your darwin boot-loader say before you start the boot? mitzuoka
this is a pretty old question but still same response. you need a vga dongle, or a paperclip / staple to put into your VGA slot / plug. The picture should describe what im saying alot more specifically. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...ficial%26sa%3DN ~~just use a staple / paper clip to connect the holes that the lines are connected to. sorry, didnt notice question was answered already Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114249-help-me-get-the-final-step-done/#findComment-832568 Share on other sites
