stander04
So i've gotten my hands on some free components to put together a PC. Pentium4 Prescott 3ghz Processor Asus P4C800-E Deluxe Motherboard Seagate 160gig Toshiba CD-RW/DVD-ROM (pulled from old mac machine) I would like to try installing OSx86. I've spent the past 2 days reading different tutorials, but I'm still relatively confused. I already have a real copy of OS X Tiger 10.4 (so that means i don't need to download a ISO, correct?) I know the dmg file needs to be patched, however i've only seen ways to patch in using Windows. Since these components were just handed to me, i don't have any OS installed on the PC (And i'd rather not buy Windows, especially if i'm not going to use it) I would like to find a way to patch a copy of my Tiger disc using a Mac, is this possible? I've looked on Demonoid for an Tiger ISO that has already been patched, but I was only able to find OSx86 versions Leopard 10.5. I didn't think my PC components were compatible with the OSx86 leopard, but i downloaded it and tried it anyway... the PC wouldn't boot from the cd, kept saying "Please reboot and select a boot device, or insert bootable media." If anyone could give me some advice or point me in a better direction for a Patched Tiger ISO i would appreciate it greatly! Thanks!
