Gerry Ol Posted July 5, 2008 Author Share Posted July 5, 2008 Okay so when i put in my ipod nano it say's ipod is detected but could not be identifyied properly the icon of my ipod shows up for like 2 seconds on the desktop. allenwkk Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 I have the same problem but SOLVED. you should check your kernel version and the system.kext version. They have to be both at same version.... Mine was 9.2.0 Kernel and 9.4.0 system.kext..... and I have the ipod not detected properly warning and the ipod icon disappeared in 2 seconds. Use USB fix 1.3.mpkg or download the same version of system.kext (my case is 9.2)as the Kernel and then use osx86tools to replace the kext.
