cizle Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 Hi, I searched this forum and didn't find a topic answering my question so I posted this new topic : I've installed kalyway leopard 10.5.2 succesfully on my HP pavilion dv9790eb after about 8 failed installs I finaly got my sound working ( the ALC268_installer2.app works perfectly ) I just need two more things figured out: -my wireless intel pro 4965AGN network card -my belgian AZERTY keyboard gives all the keys when I put them ... accept for: - all the keys that require 'alt gr' (so the AT sign... which i use very frequently ) - left tag and right tag ( smaller than / greater than ) don't work ... which is a bit f*cked up for a webdesigner like me if anyone has information/ a solution/ a website about this please post something ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/114025-keys-on-keyboard/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
hecker Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 Use the "Keyboard Viewer" Application. In order to use it, you have to enable the option "Keyboard Viewer" from you system preferences "International" pane and select the option to "show input menu in menu bar". After that you will see a little flag on the top right section of your desktop: click it and run the app from there. hecker Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 If you press the ALT, CTRL, SHIFT, COMMAND (windows key on regular keyboards), you will see that the layout on the Keyboard Viewer changes to show you where the "hidden" characters are. For example: if I press the ALT on my Keyboard, I can see that the '@' is under 'L'. So the combination is of course ALT+L. Yardie Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 you need the keyboard map for a windows ISO keyboard. Here's how to get it working (I'm using a french keyboard, but I see the Belgian keyset in the list): Download the logitech control center from their website. Using an application like Pacifist or finder you can extract the LCCKCHR.rsrc file. Copy this to your /Library/Keyboard Layouts folder. Restart the computer and go to System Preferences -> International -> Input Menu and select your country from the list with Logitech in the name.
