apoclambda
it's an Asus F5SL Laptop - here are the specs http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmen...l3=477&l4=0 I've tried kalyway and leo for all, it just doesn't see my HDD in disk utility. tried with -x and -legacy, but still nothing The weird thing is that the install went like a charm on my desktop computer. and when i saw how easy it was i went looking to see if osx will have drivers for my laptop's wireless and vga. i was very happy to see drivers for Atheros wireles and Ati 3470 vga. i went a head and made a primary partition, format it fat32 (as i did on my desktop) and it was time to begin the install, but to my surprise there was no HDD available. In disk utility it sees only my dvd drive. Any ideas? apoclambda
tried kaly 10.5.2, leo4all "Leo4All-10.5.2_Universal_AMD_INTEL" guess its v2 ... donno, and jas 10.4.8. none of them dee my HDD in disk utility. i did a little bit of searching and some say to turn off the AHCI if the HDD is sata, but the problem is that in my laptop's bios i have no option to turn it off ... so weird is there some kernel option for that? something like -noahci ? gammer1
K! here's something to think about I have a Toshiba A210-04L model I had Zeph 10.5.0. I managed to load it on with alot of testing & failures anywho I was tweeking it. and had to format and reinstall. but now disk util doesn't see the hd anymore figure that out, the only thing I can see is I couldn't use the same zeph disk I had because it got damaged. I can't find it any where to dl it. If you can get your hands on zeph copy try it. good luck!!
