Dewdman42
Apple Mail suddenly started having problems for me. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this or has any ideas about it. Basically, when I launch Mail, the app menu comes up, but there is no main window showing. If I go to file menu and select New View window, the window will come up but clicking on a message to try to view it sends Mail into endless spinning and it never displays the message. Further to that, although I can select various different menu items such as Preferences and they seem to work, I can't quit the application without using the Finder to force quit it. I really have no idea what may have happened to cause this problem. I have already tried repairing permissions. Does anyone have any ideas about it? ari79s
Do you happen to have PlugSuit and/or Afloat installed? They caused similar mail.app hangs for me until I added mail.app to their exclusion list. If not, do you have any other 3rd party bundles or plugins for mail?
