I just got leopard up and going on my HP Pavillion dv6226

CPU- Intel Core Duo 1.6ghz

2GB Ram

Intel GMA950 Graphics

Intel PRO/100 VE wired network (functional)

Intel 3945 Wireless (not functional)

Intel HD Audio (With the AzaliaAudio driver functional)

120GB SATA drive (only HDD)

Pretty much a flawless install off the Leo4allv3 ISO, running the Vanilla kernel 9.2.2 - The OS runs as smooth as a Mac, with really no functionality issues.

Once I got it going I wanted to update to the latest kernel and from what I have been reading, since I'm running the vanilla kernel, I should be fine to update though apple software update. I've tried to go directly to 10.5.4 directly, and I've also tried just updating to 10.5.3 first with the apple update, both times it locked up hard right around 25% writing files to disk, and after a restart the kernel panics and the only thing I can do is reinstall to get up and going again. Is there a method I missed while going through the forums or am I just SOL for some reason? Any thoughts are appreciated - Thanks

Have you had any luck installing any newer version of leo on your 6226? I have 10.5.5 running with a patched kernel right now, but I would like to run 10.5.6 at the minimum and possibly even a vanilla kernel that I can update with the software updater....

Also with iDeneb 1.3 I was able to get ALL hardware except the memory card slot working 100%... I had to disable CPU C4 in the BIOS, but everything is amazing now....

Let me know what you have found out..
