Racer23
Ok. I finally got it installed FINALLY. Thank You SABR Heres what I did... Had to switched my jumper on my HD from cable select to slave. THen I created the partition just like the instructions said in the WIKI. I then started the Disk Management n XP deleted both partitions which gave me an unallocated HD. I mounted the OSX ISO in Daemon tools. I created the the VMware workstation followed the instructions that SABR posted in the Genius Bar, as well as selected options for the HD as stated in in that HOw To VMWARE message farther down. I then got to the select destination and there was no hard drive listed. SO I then oopened up the disk utilites and erased the Hard Drive ( I think this converted it to be readable). Bang it was there! Everything installed properly after that. I got finished with the installation filled out all the information and got to the end and I had to leave for work so I have not had a chance to mess with it any farther. I am sure that some of my devices are not listed or not working yet so I will have to look into it more when time permits. But thanks to everyone who repllied back to all my messages and a BIG thank you to SABR!!!!!!! Racer23
I used the 10.4.5 patched bootable DVD. After I installed it and went through all the steps to sign on the first time I had to go so I am not sure how it is really working until later today.. Racer23
Quick update... I am able to bot in VMware and I also updated my boot.ini to be able to dual boot now. The first time it did not find my mouse or keyboard (I had a USB keyboard hooked up as well as a PS/2 keyboard DOH!) Re booted and everythng works great. I have no issues with anything that I have used yet. No sound problems, no graphic problems(I want a bigger resolution though), PS/2 keyboard and mouse work great! Safari crashes without warning but I installed Firefox and BAM that works great. Now I need to find out what I want to use on this OS. I am hopefully goinng to do some vide editing and Photoshop stuff. I have a litescribe DVD burner that I havent yet tried so who knows. It took me a few different ways to install but I love it!!!!!!!
