Hi there and thanks for a great forum.I have recently installed Kalyway 10.5.2 in a dualboot with XP, using the guide on the osx86wiki. I can't boot into the system though. I have tried using gparted to specify my winXP as bootable, but after that no luck. I have tried adding chain0 and editing boot.ini, but when I select the OSX it just returns to the OS select menu. I used the sleep-kernel and added nvidia drivers (removed other languages than english). In the disk utility it confirms that there is in fact 6,0 GBs installed on the 30GB hfs+ journaled partition. What could be the problem?

Thanks again.

btw tried viewing the different partitions in acronis and fdisk and stuff from my hiren boot-disk, but none of the programs seem to recognize the partition :D maybe I should just retry the whole process.btw Hardware:C2D 1,83GHz2GB Corsair DDR2120GB Samsung spinpoint sata7900gtx leadtekgigabyte 965p-ds3

After using tboot instead I managed to get the system to boot into osx, but after the grey apple it hangs with the mouse pointer and a rotating rainbow-colored logo. The logo rotates but there is no hard drive activity. Should I abandon the project or have I customized the install wrong?

It's tricky to install video drivers and some are not supported at all, digg more on nvinject.free.fr forum.

For resolution you can try to edit com.apple.Boot.plist and add (again, this works only on some cards):

<key>Graphics Mode</key>

<string>1280x800x32@60</string>
