Scorpio123
Hey there, i'm having a strange problem while trying to install Leo4allv3 on my HP dv1000 1.8 Intel Centrino Solo, Intel GMA900 laptop.. Installation goes fine, but after the first boot it gives me a "still waiting for root device" statement in the verbose, and continues to repeat before i have to give up and turn it off.. After doing some research, it looks like this is a problem for people with SATA drives.. But i'm using an IDE hard drive, and ive installed many other flavours of OS X before, and have never faced this problem... Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Branndon
I was having the same issues, I had Zephroth's old 10.5.1 working fine, but couldn't get any leo4all version working, same error and i have an ide drive. My fix was to try Kalyway 10.5.2 and select your drivers during install. It worked fine for me. Scorpio123
For me, Kalyway 10.5.1 installed flawlessly, but Kalyway 10.5.2 gave me the error outlined in this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=98915&st=0 Which is why i attempted Leo4allv3, and got the error mentioned above... Think its back to 10.5.1 for me if there isnt a fix.... I guess its not that bad though, unless of course there isn't a 10.5.2 SSE2 combo update around lol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113629-still-waiting-for-root-device/#findComment-804674 Share on other sites
