B10H4Z4RD-X Posted July 2, 2008 Share Posted July 2, 2008 Ok...So its been a while since I've done this but I'm back into it im trying to install Kalyway 10.5.2 on a Dell GX270 but when i tell it to boot from the DVD it starts but then reboots itself what do I need to change to make it work :-\ any help would be appreciated it. Mactiangco Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Pay attention to the text on screen when it reboots it might give you an idea whats causing the problem. I had a similar issue with my GX280 (its a different board than your 270) and noticed that it would always stall after a line refering to the onboard network card. I disabled the network card in the bios and was able to boot and install after that. HTH.
