allen08us
Motherboard: p5n32-e sliI believe several people have already asked this question. But I don't think there is a clear solution.Temporary solution will be using "cpus=1" to boot up.But that means I can only use one core of my CORE 2 DUO. ..hmm .. doesn't sound good to me.Is there a fix so that my internet won't freeze when it reaches a high speed??Please.Thank you!!forgot to say that I am using nForceEthernetController.kextI installed it using this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...3317&st=140thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113449-nforceethernetcontroller-network-freezes-when-downloading-in-high-speed-i-dont-want-to-use-cpus1/ Share on other sites
cgsheen
Ya... There's always been a solution! Disable the damn thing and get a "known good" PCI networking adapter - like one listed on the HCL... MrRoper
I agree with you both.... i hate the cpus=1 solution and refuse to use it. however with that i'm forced to use a pci NIC that luckily, i had layin around. If you can manage to convince someone with driver writing knowledge and skills to take over this project i'm all for it, since there are many nforce users out there that would i'm sure be appreciative... otherwise i'm afraid your stuck for the time being there's another one u can try by inoob but at least for me, my results were the same... http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=89475 Ya...
