RaZ69
Hey everyone, I am farily new to the Hackintosh world (but not so new to the Macintosh world), and I seem to run into the same problem that a lot of people do when trying to install Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel_Amd (sse2/sse3) EFI V8. The dreaded "Still waiting for root device" error. I have tried minor fixes such as reburning the DVD at slower speeds and adjusting some bios settings but all to no avail. More or less I am asking for any solutions that may be viable to someone who is in the situation that I am in. These are my system specs: System: Intel 3.2GHZ HT (both SSE2 and SSE3 compatible) Intel 946GZIS Motherboard 1.5 GB of ram (1x 512MB ,2x1024MB) Western Digital 80Gb I am not sure if you need any other information from me. I am pretty sure that both the Hard Drive and DVD Drive are both IDE/PATA. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.
