lancylott
I'm running a 10.5.3 Kalyway install with kernel 9.3.0. I have a Gigabyte EP35-DS3L, which has ICH9. Anyway, I've tried several USB devices. My mouse and Xbox 360 controller both work. However, my card reader does not. I've checked the manufacturer website, which said it needs no install and the volume will pop up automatically. Well, it does not. It shows up in System Profiler as "Mass Storage Device," using AppleUSBEHCI. I don't have any other EHCI devices to test, but basically, it's not in Disk Utility either... So I can't view any of the volumes on it. And there is a FAT32 partition on the microSDHC I have in the reader, which worked on Windows and Linux. Help? lancylott
I've tried another removable storage drive, a 1gb USB stick, which works. It's just my Transcend TS-RDM5W which doesn't work. And I don't get it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113169-usb-mass-storage-issues/#findComment-801628 Share on other sites
