ash32 Posted June 29, 2008 Share Posted June 29, 2008 l've read with interest a lot of the posts on this site and thought I would really like to try MAC OSX on my HP NX7400 Laptop. I've been trying to install it using iatkos v2.0i for the last couple of days but I can't get past the same problem. When I go into the disk utility the partition I have created (78gb) cannot be erased. THe error seems to be that it cannot be mounted. I've tried having the partition as unallocated space, an NTFS partition I've even loaded a linux live CD and formatted it as JFS but every time I get into the disk utility the erase fails and it won't mount. I've even tried setting my SATA drive Native to Disabled in my BIOS (I sw it may effect things in a post somwhere) but it made no difference. Any ideas? Thanks Ash...
