A8N32 - nForce4 LAN issues

Hello,

 

I'm having problems getting a good LAN connection. I've tried installing both Leo4All and Zephyroth Rev 2, with multiple combinations of kernels and chipset drivers. I'm getting the same results under both builds.

 

nForce4 LAN connection is blazing fast, but freezes the OS under traffic (surfing is fine, but even downloading Firefox will kill it). Reading other forum posts, I see that I'm not alone. I've tried the nForce kext and the nForce-v kext from the Leo4All install. No change.

 

Marvell 8053 works fine (ID 4362) - no freezing, grabs DHCP out of the box - but it's dead slow. Average speed is 4kb/sec, when I'm expecting 400 or so. I've tried disabling IPv6 and setting ethernet to manual settings. No change.

 

Anyone have any advice?
