egpstudio
I Successfully installed Leopard on my old computer (P4 3Ghz, P4C800E-deluxe,Nvidia6600 AGP, 1GB RAM).After restarting the system when installer finished i could not boot normally until I press F8 on keyboard and I write kabylkernel and then press enter. (The other kernels don't work). Is there any chance I can change some configuration file for automating this process? Thanks in advance. Schweppes
you have to change the default kernel in com.appleBoot.plist from "mach_kernel" to "kabylkernel", then repair permissions and restart Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/112956-automating-kernel-selection-during-startup/#findComment-799509 Share on other sites
