failo
Hi! I`m running leopard, Leo4All v3 updated to 10.5.3 with kalyway combo update (updated with mobin 9.3 kernel) Everything works ok, lan, wireless, graphics, sound but I have no sleep function. My setup: Asus P5LD2 945 Pentium D 930 Nvidia 7300GT 256 MB dev.id 0x0393 Installed on IDE HD. I do know that the new mobin kernel does not support sleep or any extra features like speed step, but I did experiment a lot with ToH 9.2 kernel on 10.5.2 and 10.5.3 with no luck. With ToH kernel (sleep version) my computer went as it should to sleep, fans off, HD off and blinking LED for power. But when it starts up the monitor stays off displaying "no signal". My Graphics is "fully" (obviously not that fully) supported QE/QI supported, it shows the name of the monitor attached - with NVinject 2.1. I did not manually edited any other kexts, do i have to? Tried different AppleSMBIOS.kext`s but no luck too. Plese somebody with similar setup help, it would be a big help to get this work! Thanks! borisbadenov
Hey, I have the same board as you do. I have hacked it from every angle I can think of but from all I have seen, this particular board cannot wake from sleep, nothing further than you have gotten so far. Other boards in this series (P5ld2-se, etc) can sleep, just not ours. If you ever hear anything different, please let me know.
