Is there a MBR 10.5.3 combo update?

I am running a q6600 quad on a dr31pr motherboard. I had the kalyway 10.5.2 DVD and it installed OS X great, but I ran into problems with the HD being in GUID mode, so the only way my burner and video card would show up was to use the MBR option to format my HD.

 

Long story short, I was under the impression that MBR can not be updated from the modified combo updaters. For example, if I update it will mess everything up.

 

I understand that GUID can be update, iswhile MBR can not, is this correct?

 

So for people like me, I need the Kalyway 10.5.3 DVD to install new, because MBR can not update.

 

Will there ever be a 10.5.3 DVD update?
