Hi, I've tried to search this problem but I've only found either old or non-relevant topics.

Anyway: I have Kalyway 10.5.2 with the sleep kernel (just took it because it was the default one) and I'm running it on a laptop (zepto znote 3415W --OR-- Compal FL90 as it's really called). I have loads of problems, but I wonder how to get osx to detect that I'm using a LAPTOP and have a BATTERY etc. Right now osx thinks that I'm using a Mac Pro :/ - I really need a battery icon to be able to use this as a portable machine.

If you can't solve this, please assist with your knowledge in these problems:

-My bus speed shows 100 MHz in System Profiler when it should be 800Mhz. fsb=200 didn't work as a boot option (nothing happened).

-After I put the computer to sleep and wake it up again, I have no sound, and so I have to reboot to get sound again.

Thanks in advance!
