rexexdesign Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 Hello everybody, I finally got my network card to work with the PCGenRTL8139Ethernet.kext. Not quite I guess, because after about 15 - 30 minutes the connection gets lost through the network card. Speed is great before that and it recognizes it in the System Profiler and Network Preferences. After the connection is lost, the card still shows active in Network and it says "connected" and displays the IP address. Does anybody have an idea on this? thanks a bunch! PS. I just installed 10.5.3 update and the connection seems to last longer, but as soon as I push data to my network storage NAS device it disconnects. I am able to get a bit of data across, but after a minute or so it looses connection. If I push data to my NAS over wifi (USB) I get the grey screen of death! Please help!
