hello

i have an hp compaq nx7000 centrino laptop with ati video card, 512ram,

installed leopard with sse2 ,no vanilla, mbr...

on bootup (tried -x,-s,-v, and their combinations)

system is freezing after "ntfs volume name, version 3.1"

and there's this "c0d0: family specific matching fails" that i see a few times on the screen

any ideas how to solve this??

i was thinking maybe to try disabling ntfs drivers

and i have no clue what the c0d0 error is about

ps: i have dual boot with xp running perfectly fine

I ran into this error myself. The only way I could fix it was to remove all my other harddrives and set the hdd with my mac partition to master. That got me past the ntfs error but now it freezes on /usr/sbin/ocspd["some random number"]: starting

I think the ntfs error was because it couldn't locate your mac partition, but then again you're on a laptop, so that probably wasn't the case since you probably only have one hdd. I don't know what to tell ya man. I'm still looking for a fix for the error I've got now but I run into a solution for your problem, I'll let you know.
