babyblue Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 ok i was following the guide below : http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...DualBoot_10.5.2 now everything was setup nicely, but at the bootmenu when i select Mac osx x86, it brings me back to the menu again. If i recall properly, i posted a thread about my home pc not being able to boot unless my kalyway dvd was in the drive only then would osx boot, someone instructed me to run some commands but i can't find my thread... any ideas as to why i can't boot into osx ? or will i have to run those commands again !! cheers edit : Additional info I also try swapping chain0 with tboot, same probs. Also during the installation after the first initial reboot i booted in gparted. I did not go through with the whole osx setup like keyboard, name, place, language etc.. maybe the problem is cause i skipped that part ? babyblue Posted June 25, 2008 Author Share Posted June 25, 2008 ok i used advance startup to boot i could boot. it looks as if the setup wants to start but stays with the default (Mac)blue screen (not BSOD ) my hardware am doing this on is a: Thinkpad x60 - 1gb ram - 110GB hd !! maybe the thinkpad is the problem !! babyblue Posted June 25, 2008 Author Share Posted June 25, 2008 ok so i thied the dual boot guide on my home pc with a spare hdd 80gb, it didn't work. I did everything as said in the guide but when i boot into OSX i get the "boot.plist not found". anyway can a mod close my thread if possible , i will see that the error be fix !
