Toshiba Satellite U400 and Kalyway

Hello.

I recently installed Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD to my Toshiba Satellite U400. It worked fine, after patching it with /movevideodrivers.

But there are still problems:

- can't select 1280x800 resolution (there is only one, 1024x768) - there is Intel GMA3100, the same which I have in my mac

- WiFi and Lan didn't work. WiFi is Intel PRO/Wireless 3495ABG, LAN is some kind of Marvell

- sound seems to not be working. but I didn't find out what is the soundcard flavour

 

Is there somebody who can help me ? Didn't anybody had the same problems ?

Hello Guys!

 

I have a Toshiba laptop from the same lineup that you do (U405-S2830). I can install Kalyway 10.5.2 successfully, but when it boots up i get no image. Actually, it just appears a gray screen. So, the problem is my video card (GMAX3100), what did you do to work? In addition, i must say that sound is working, i can hear while is booting =)

PS: My wifi is 4965AGN, so it won´t work anyway... :S

I'm trying to install Kalyway on this laptop, but i've some problem.

 

The command /movevideodrivers don't exist... Must I patch the iso?? Or else??

 

Please someone that have the Toshiba can help me??
