jump_912
Hi to all Hackintosh Gurus out there, Can anyone guide me how to fix a kernel panic? I have attempted to install a 9.2.0 System.Kext into my Leo4allV3 Mac Leopard 1.5.2. The attempt is to fix the known issue of mismatched System.Kext version with Kernel version that results in USB device will not be automatically detected. Here are the steps that i used: 1. removed 9.2.2 System.Kext. 2. replace with a 9.2.0 system.kext. 3. repair permission. 4. removed extensions.kext. 5. reboot. is there anyway to boot into console so that i can do the necessary reverse process? I have tried to boot into safe mode and single user mode but to no avail. Please help. Thanks
BigBadOwl
Make sure you use the -f flag at boot, this helped me.
