NightLord Posted March 6, 2006 Share Posted March 6, 2006 My friend, who isn't very technically savvy, wants to install OS X on his compaq presario 061, hes not very technically savy, and gets a Waiting for root device error after using -v. Using his system information dump, i habe this info on it: x86 Family 15 Model 47 Stepping 2 AuthenticAMD ~1989 Mhz 512Mb RAM ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series VIA OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller Ultimate Edge Audio Controller WDM Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B I hope that helps.
