jnp
I'm in the middle of doing netkas' method for updating to 10.5.3. The updater has completed and I have not yet rebooted. But I mistakenly closed the root terminal prior to editing the /System/InstallAtStartup/scripts/1 file and restoring my kexts. Now whenever I try to sudo it is not accepting my password. I get "Sorry try again". Does anyone know how I can get back root access in order to complete the steps prior to rebooting? If I am not able to, and have to reboot, what will my situation be? Is there anyway to reboot and go into single user mode to complete the steps, prior to the apple update doing the rest of its thing?
