uji
In the past I have installed uphuck on my last AMD machine, which worked quite well. But now I have a new pc and some things look like they have changed, if anyone could quickly explain a few things I might need for the following hardware I'd really appreciate it. mobo: gigabyte gax38dq6 cpu: quad core q6600 - what kernal should I use? grx: leadtek 8800gt 256mb - what grx driver should I use? sound: default mobo sound ALC889A - I read that I need a patch, what patch and where/how? what does EFI mean? also, what are the recommended installations for use with my hardware. Retail / or modified? Any help on this subject will be very much appreciated, I hope there are other people out there with similar hardware. With my old pc it was easier since all I had to do was choose an AMD kernel with the generic nvidia driver, now I have to choose from a few different intel kernels and different nvidia drivers, plus the sound patch etc Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/111966-please-give-me-some-advice-for-installing-osx-on-my-machine/ Share on other sites
