Sonorous
Hello All! I am relatively new to the osx86 scene and I am having a little trouble. I had osx installed on my pc once, but after trying to get my 2900xt to work I messed something up and osx would only kernel panic from that point on. So I have been attempting my second installation but at around 97% of the install, it fails and says that "Install Failed. SecUpd2008-002_SecUpd2008-002 could not be installed. you need to restart your blah blah." So before I go any further let me just list my hardware and such. Asus - P5K Deluxe WiFi/AP, Intel C2Q Q6600, some Gskill pc3200 ddr2, and an ATi Radeon HD2900XT. I have been using the Kalyway 10.5.2 install and have tried both the vanilla kernel and the sleepkernel, and according to my research all of my hardware should work fine(minus that 2900xt). So I am wondering a few things. 1. What is the best way to burn the kalyway.iso to a dvd (I might have messed that up somehow) 2. Would it just be possible to download the SecUpd2008-002.pkg and add it to the iso? 3. Does anyone know where the SecUpd2008-002.pkg is located on the Kalyway DVD so I can see if it is infact missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
