First installation on an ASUS laptop

I've been curious about installing Mac OSX on a PC and decided to give this a try. I've downloaded the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD Intel Amd iso and then ran it. I tried using vanilla, -v and then -x -f, which generated the error message below.

 

I've tried using iATKOS, ToH and Leo4all ISO files, but none of them go this far. I've managed to get stuck here and I'm clueless as to how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'm running an ASUS F8Sn laptop with the following specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.66Ghz (Santa Rosa)

Intel PM965 Crestline 800Mhz FSB + ICH8M (<--- I've read that this causes issues?)

3GB DDR2 667FSB Memory

250GB SATA HDD

NVidia Geforce 9500 GS 512MB

I tried burning the Leo4All-10.5.2 using ImgBurn at 2x speed, reformatted my entire HDD to 3 partitions, 2 FAT32 drives and one NTFS (I plan to reinstall Vista later).

 

Ran it with cpus=1 -x -f -s tags and got to here:

After exiting the prompt "sh-3.2#" I believe, I also get a 0x05fc7f00 Journal is invalid messsage as well, and then a slew of "disk1s2: device is write locked." messages.

 

Should I try Kalyway 10.5.1? iATKOS never goes beyond the ACPIPlatformPlugin has two dependencies error, and neither does ToH x86 RC2.

Same problem.. but in vmware.. cant seem to get past the readonly filesystem and crashes.. wondering whats the right seetings.
