bobonov
I've set up a dual boot with chain0 / darwin bootloader, that part works fine. However, when I start, i use platform=x86pc -s -v (usually, tried a few other things) and I get... "Start OHCI controller will be unloaded across sleep" "Still waiting on root device" The root device message repeats for a while...I haven't been patient enough to see if it will actually go away if I wait long enough. I haven't changed any settings in BIOS, which I occasionally see people on the forum talking about, so maybe that's what I need. At any rate, if it is indeed a USB issue, can anyone help me out? System installed and runs fine in VMWare (although no real surprise there). Windows is on disk0s1 and OSX86 is on disk0s3. Any help would be appreciated. Rockviech
try the rd=disk0s2 stuff in your case rd=disk0s3 another thing, try to keep both partitions as near as possible xp = disk0s1 and osx= disk0s2 only heard of it, causing problems, never tried it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11169-installed-in-vmware-trying-to-boot-natively-1044/#findComment-69932 Share on other sites
