Hi so I think there are 3 different types of RAID:

Software - Define in the Mac Disk Utility

Motherboard - Most people's RAID..

Hardware - Add In Card

What I want to be able to do is boot from a FAT32 Partition I've made on my Motherboard RAID Controller. Its a RAID 0 array made from 3 Samsung 320GB HD322HJ's. The rest of the partition is NTFS.

Any way to do this? I would like to be able to boot to the partition directly, without the use of another non-RAID disk, a USB pen would be ok to do the initial boot from, because from what I gather you have to boot a certain amount of OS X before you can get into the RAID Array to boot properly.

Your thoughts please...
