ra3don Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Ok so I have been reading through this forum and its really great to see how many successful users have gotten OSX86 running good on their computers! However, I haven't really seen that many guides or anything written for an AMD Dual Core. So if you have any advice, links or anything to help me get started I would GREATLY appreciate it. I was thinking to use LEO4ALLv3. Any advice on this decision let me know too please. Here are my system specs: Its supposed to be in a HTML table, but i'm not sure its gonna let me do that. DV9000 HP Laptop Running Vista. System Summary Mainboard Quanta 30B9 Chipset nVidia nForce 410 Processor AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TK-53 @ 1700 MHz Physical Memory 2048 MB (2 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM ) Video Card Nvidia Corp GeForce Go 6150 Hard Disk Hitachi (160 GB) DVD-Rom Drive MAT{censored}A DVD-RAM UJ-851S ATA Device Monitor Type SAMSUNG - 17 inches Network Card Broadcom Corp Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-PCI Card Operating System Windows Vista Home Premium Home Edition 6.00.6001 Service Pack 1 DirectX Version 10.00 So. Hopefully these should be all right, and the harddrive is ATA too i believe. I don't know why it says my wireless card is a dell, but it is a broadcom. My Sound Card is:MCP51 High Definition Audio. It says its in AC'97 mode. Whatever that means. Ok, So anyone who can help at all. Please do. Also some guidance as to which packages i should choose to install for video, and wireless to hopefully get me running from the start.
