hamzter
Greetings All, This is my first post since I have joined and I have searched and tried to learn as much as I could before showing my level of knowledge about OSX86... I currently own a Macbook Pro and have been in the IT field since 1985. So, I may be a n00b when it comes to OSX86, but not when it comes to computers in general. With that said, I had purchased parts from my local PC Club and all they had was the Asus P5KPL-VM that was on the 10.5.2 HCL... my only mistake was that I did not try to find anything else on the list elsewhere, so my mistake. Here is my list of HW to make this read easier: MB: Asus P5KPL-VM Proc: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.40ghz Mem: DDR2 667 2 x 2GB HD: Maxtor 120GB ATA100 Vid: OnBoard for now OptDrive: Writemaster DVD/CD drive BIOS Settings: Disabled ACPI 2.0 Disabled Legacy USB Disabled AECI Is there anything else you would need to know? So here is the issue I have. I have both Leo4All 10.5.2 V2 and the Kalyway 10.5.2 OSX86 disks. I can't get past the org.twqbd.driver.ACPIPS2Nub on the Leo4All install disk and ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop on the Kalyway 10.5.2. I am stumped. I have installed Leo4All on a GA-K8N51 GMF-9 MB with a S939 AMD 64 AthlonX2 4200+. The Kalyway 10.5.2 Disk was used to install OSX86 on a GA-965GM-S2 with a P4 D E2180. So the media seemed fine. Is there something I am missing? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/111505-p5kpl-vm-1052-install/ Share on other sites
hamzter
Should Kaly' 10.5.1 be installed first? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/111505-p5kpl-vm-1052-install/#findComment-790325 Share on other sites
