SticMAC™ Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 I used to get this a lot installing from a DVD, then I copied the same image over to a bootable USB HDD and it goes through with the install! (I think it has something to do with a timeout, therefore the "always burn the DVD as slow as possible" remarks! Styxie Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 I get the same error, only with BaseSystem, not Essentials. I tried buring the DVD again at the slowest speed possible, but it didn't work.
