wood_e
I need wifi on my hackie, and I have 2 PCI cards I already own to chose from. One is a trendnet card which i got for $15 at microcenter that uses a realtek chipset - model TEW-423PI The other is a linksyscard which has varying degrees of success here... model WMP54GS v2 I'm thinking the realtek is my best option, but I want to be sure the whole process is as simple as possible to install and use the connectivity. jimbo1531
i had massive trouble running anything PCI in my hackintosh, as i dont think an ordinary mac comes with any pci slots, therefore its not supported. Realtek.com.tw has drivers for all their products up to 10.5 leopard, but u have to make sure u go to the taiwan site not the english one, otherwise its only supported up to 10.4. Still couldnt get it to work though, and had to go and buy a realtek usb dongle.
