Hey everyone, I decided to get into OSX86 (aka newb at it). Got the ISO version (pheNIX release) of 10.4.1. Wiped a hard drive I don't need- used PartitionMagic to convert the drive to one primary raw/unformatted partition. Whenever I try installing it from the DVD it gives the "still waiting for root device" message. So I've tried using "rd=disk0s1" with every combination of verbose mode and safe mode. It gets further at least and detects the drive but I always get a panic error. Here's the last few lines.

BSD root:disk0s1, major 14, minor 1

nfs_boot:networking is not initialized

panic(cpu 0 caller 0xC0265EA6): nfs_boot_init failed with 6

Debugger called: <panic>

Then it shows all sorts of debug information.

I would really really appriciate it if someone could help me with this, or at least steer me in the right direction. Thanks! :)
