ers35
Hello, I have successfully installed OS X version 10.4.5 on my Dell Dimension 4600. When I try to boot however, I get the "You need to restart" error. I'm suspecting my Ati Radeon x800 because of all the problems I've seen in other threads. Safe mode doesn't work, nor does platform=x86pc. I've already deleted all the ATI kexts with macdrive in the system/library/extensions folder of osx. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way to solve this problem as it has been bugging me for days. I have already read most of the threads on this forum and cannot find a solution. If you need to know, my specs are: Intel Pentium 4 2.6 Gh/z w/HT 1.5GB of ram. Ati Radeon x800 AGP Intel 10/100 Network Card Thanks ~ers35 PS: I will post a "-v" message if required.
