Ok, so after much trial and tribulation, I finally got OS X 10.4.3 back on my system while keeping my windows partition on the same slave drive. There are two minor problems, however:

1) The windows partition on the slave drive doesn't show up in OS X. It shows up in the disk utility and in Windows' diskmgmt utility (even shows up when in the disk utility while in OS X, not just when booting from the install CD), but not on the desktop of OS X. This also ties into the next problem. EDIT: Fixed. Didn't realize there was a "mount partition" button in the top right. :) Problem below still exists, however, as far as I know. I don't suppose it's so much of a problem now, but it would be nice to be able to edit the partitions from within Windows, should I ever need to (using Partition Magic).

2) In Partition Magic 8 (in Windows), my whole slave drive is yellow with a type of "BAD". It reads the correct size for the entire drive, but shows no partitions (even when diskmgmt shows the correct partitions; I had to use diskmgmt's quick format option to format the empty space for Windows use).

Any insight? This wouldn't be so much of a problem if I didn't keep my music on my slave drive; I'd like to be able to access it from OS X without cluttering up my main drive.

Thanks in advance for any help.
