Faris
Hi all.. I have a question regarding booting different OS's in the same computer (laptop).. I have an HP Pavilion dv8000.. installed Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, Fedora 9, MAC OS X Leopard 10.5.2 & GRUB as my boot loader.. My question is: does that affect my hardware?? I mean, does it overload the laptop hardware and make its life spam shorter?? and can it damage my laptop in any way?? My aspects are: Core Duo T2400 @ 1.83Ghz 1024RAM Nvidia Geforce GO 7600 256MB 100GB SATA HDD and the rest are in my sign.. Thanks.. Suzie's Soliloquy
A little worried about "Life Spam"... but no, it should not impact on your hardware whatsoever; from a technical standpoint multi-booting is a sound idea and virtually risk-free =] Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/110760-a-question-regarding-triple-booting/#findComment-784797 Share on other sites
