Ankit Gupta Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 hi, I had Leopard installed on my Laptop for past 3 months, suddenly my Leopard partion (hd0,4) is missing from the grub can any ony say me what to do I tried title Leopard root (hd0,4) savedefault makeactive chainloader +1 quiet but it didnot work. I am Using UBUNTU 7.10 About Grub and the bootloader, I understand it's pretty difficult and painful. But you can boot from Grub if it wasn't before. At all, that's not very clear! Important thing :GUID OR MBR Partition Schema ?!?! bingbong10101 Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Looks like you did not to bad. make sure you opened with root account gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst The other thing is use gparted or something to check what add you got Leopard on.
