Hi,

I'm trying to make my own little hackintosh and plan to use a antec NSK2480 case (for the noise + small size) so I will need to have a micro atx motherboard...

I can't seem to find any good motherboard for core 2 duo with esata and raid that would work ou of the box with leopard.

Any recommendations?

I plan on overclocking a bit the e8200 so it would be good also if the motherboard has a lot of settings for overclocking...

EDIT:

After a looking around a bit more I found two motherboards that might potentially be interesting

- ASUS P5E-VM HDMI

it has raid and 6 sata ports... But I don't know if it works well with os x.

If this motherboards graphic chip and dual monitor supported works perfectly (with QE, CI) I would get this motherboard (I don't care about games much but I want to have two monitors... so if it's integrated in the mother board it could save me quite a bit of cash)

- GIGABYTE GA-G33M-DS2R

It seems according to http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=71338

but I'm not sure if raid works correctly or not?

Anyway if anybody can help me choose or recommend other motherboards, it would be great ;-)

About the motherboards, I suggest just search the forum (from google)...The G33M-DS2R is known to work well. The OSX86 wiki is a great resource too.

About RAID, it works only for the Bad Axe natively, read these threads:

Since raid doesn't work, I think I'll get either an Asus P5K-VM or a GA-G33M-DS2R, from reading the thread it seems that the Asus P5K-VM would be easier to set up... But I'm not so sure....

I also want to make sure that it supports more than 4 GB ram without crashing. Would it be a problem with any of those two mother boards?
